Where is Volodymyr Androsovych?

For a month and a half, he lived at "Azovmash" under constant shelling, and on April 12, together with everyone who was there, he was captured by the Russians.

A 62-year-old Volodymyr Androsovych is a school bus driver from the village of Ulyanivka in the Mykolaiv region. On February 27, he and three other drivers took the military men to Mariupol. The destination was the Azovmash plant. Fierce fighting was already taking place in the city, so drivers were forbidden to leave the territory of the enterprise because of the danger. For a month and a half, Volodymyr lived at "Azovmash" under constant shelling, and on April 12, together with everyone who was there, he was captured by the Russians. According to the testimony of volunteers who took people out of Mariupol, in May Volodymyr was seen in the colony in Olenivka - the same one that was blown up by the Russians at the end of July, killing dozens of Ukrainian prisoners. Volodymyr was most definitely not among them - his relatives have information that the prisoner was taken out of there in May, but where exactly remains unknown.

Volodymyr was born and grew up in Zhytomyr Oblast. And at the age of 21, he met Nina, a physical education teacher from the Mykolaiv region. He fell in love, got married, and moved out.

There were no sports sections in the village, and for several decades Volodymyr drove village boys to the city of Novy Bug for football training in his car and at his own expense. Already when the man retired, he was offered a job as a school bus driver.

Volodymyr and Nina have four children, six grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter Sofia who was born on August 27. Her great-grandfather doesn’t know about it yet.

Volodymyr Androsovych was shown in television stories of the self-proclaimed DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic). Propagandists lied that he was a military man. However, when his relatives from Russia asked the leaders of the DPR, they replied that they didn’t have such a prisoner.
