On June 28, the kidnapped civilian resident of Genichesk was released from the occupation prison. Anton Kabernyk is currently at home. He has been avoiding to provide any further comments. According to his relatives, he didn’t sign anything, but his mobile phone was taken away.

The Ukrainian spent almost three months in Russian captivity - since he was forced to come to the occupation commandant's office for questioning. During Anton's search, his pregnant wife lost her child.
